Automated systems flag rate, not intent. The appeal has to explain the burst of activity in human terms — a launch, an event, a reply thread — and state what you will do differently, because reviewers look for whether the behavior will repeat.
Disabled Discord accounts are scheduled for permanent deletion roughly 30 days after the ban, so filing quickly matters more than filing perfectly.
Step 1 — Find the exact wording of the notice
Open Discord and read what it actually says. You are looking for the name of the rule, not the summary. An appeal that quotes the rule and explains why it does not apply is treated very differently from one that says the decision was wrong.
Step 2 — Write the appeal
Answer these and you'll get wording you can paste into Discord's form. Nothing is sent anywhere — it is generated in your browser.
Step 3 — Send it, once
If you can still open settings: User Settings → My Account → Standing → "Let us know". If you are locked out entirely: the official request form at dis.gd/contact.
What this will not do
- We do not contact Discord for you. You submit the appeal yourself, through their official channel.
- Whether the account comes back is Discord's decision, not ours. Nobody can promise that.
- If the action was for child safety, an appeal will not succeed and we will not write you one.

Can I appeal more than once?

Will Discord tell me why?
Usually only in broad terms — the notice names a rule, not the specific post or signal. That is why the appeal has to cover the checkable facts rather than guess at what triggered it.
Is paying someone to write this worth it?
Only if the letter is actually different from what you would have sent. Support reviews your account history and the reason for the action. If they find the ban was unwarranted, the account is reinstated. If your situation is simple and you can state it clearly yourself, do that — it costs nothing.
