How to cancel Authenticator ℠ App and get your money back

Step 1 — Stop the next charge
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
- Select Authenticator ℠ App → Cancel Subscription.
- Check that it now says Expires and not Renews. If it still says Renews, it is not canceled.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

I subscribed the first week of June which was 7 day free trial and I paid $9.99 for 2nd week I admit I was a day late so that was on me so I paid it immediately canceling deleting the app I left that paid week without ever using it. This app is deceptive! The free trial cost 9.99 immediately. I had to get a new credit card because you cannot cancel your subscription. It continues to charge you even after you delete the app off the phone! Don’t get caught up with this stupid app! I have sent a complaint for refund but this is the scammiest app out there.

Can I get a refund after I already canceled Authenticator ℠ App?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.
How long do I have to ask for a refund?
Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.
Apple declined my request. Is that the end?
No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.
Will I lose access to Authenticator ℠ App if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling only stops the next renewal.
