How to cancel Autio: Road Trip & Travel App and get your money back

Step 1 — Stop the next charge
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
- Select Autio: Road Trip & Travel App → Cancel Subscription.
- Check that it now says Expires and not Renews. If it still says Renews, it is not canceled.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

This app service sounds great. Unfortunately, after I purchased the subscription, it locked me out, with no way to reset my password, because their website has a terrible mobile phone interface. The AP started sending a multitude of alerts many repeat. I estimate 30 notifications in 3-4 hours. Wrote to them for assistance. Response took 3 days and then they wanted more information about the problem. I reiterated the issues. No reply. I’ve written 4 times to find out how to receive a refund and no reply. I guess I’ll post this again?? I’d give this negative stars if I could. The app has deceptive advertising and poor UX/UI. The stories are not user generated and might as well be someone reading a Wikipedia article about something to you. Pressing the pause button skips to the next story and there’s no way to escape the subscription page, forcing you to close the app.

Can I get a refund after I already canceled Autio: Road Trip & Travel App?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.
How long do I have to ask for a refund?
Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.
Apple declined my request. Is that the end?
No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.
