How to cancel Buddhify: Guided Meditation and get your money back

Step 1 — Stop the next charge
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
- Select Buddhify: Guided Meditation → Cancel Subscription.
- Check that it now says Expires and not Renews. If it still says Renews, it is not canceled.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

Everyone is moving to a subscription model now. Feels like a total grift. I appreciated Buddhify’s one time purchase model. I’ve had it for about 5 years now. I don’t need updates or new material, I just need it to work, but now they’ve taken away some of the previously available content. It just doesn’t play at all.
I bought this app outright and know they are intentionally programming bugs into the software for folks who don’t require subscription. Class action lawsuit incoming. Going to sleep 1/Fade no longer works.

Questions
Can I get a refund after I already canceled Buddhify: Guided Meditation?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.
How long do I have to ask for a refund?
Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.
Apple declined my request. Is that the end?
No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.
Will I lose access to Buddhify: Guided Meditation if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling only stops the next renewal.
