Step 1 — Stop the next charge

  1. On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
  2. Select Keeper Password ManagerCancel Subscription.
  3. Check that it now says Expires and not Renews. If it still says Renews, it is not canceled.

Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

Step 2 — Ask Apple for the charge back

Answer these and you'll get the exact wording to paste into Apple's form. Nothing is sent anywhere — it's generated in your browser.

A detail only you could write makes the request read as yours rather than a form letter.

Recent 1–2★ reviews of Keeper Password Manager on the App Store, about billing:

I tried this app for less than an hour. It is clunky and difficult to navigate. I attempted to get my money back, but they instead forced me to pay for an entire year an hour after my purchase. DO NOT BUY! Update: the developer reached out stating there must have been confusion regarding payment and customer service could help and sending me this link to change my review. I contacted customer and they still were unwi…

I’ve had this app for about. 5-6 years. I used it bunch in the beginning but once I switched to an IPhone I never had the need for the Keeper app. Unfortunately it has been on auto renewal and somehow along the way additional storage was added to my account. I didn’t ask for it or have the need for it and if you look inside my account you would see 0 bytes of storage being used. My plan just renewed and if you cancel…

I’ve used this app for a few years now. Recently had to pay twice when they changed the subscription and now the app never wants to load to pull up my passwords. I would’ve cancelled my subscription and moved all my passwords to apple’s password manager if that had worked properly. I feel I pay too much for a too little+ a janky app

Questions

Can I get a refund after I already canceled Keeper Password Manager?

Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.

How long do I have to ask for a refund?

Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.

Apple declined my request. Is that the end?

No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.

Will I lose access to Keeper Password Manager if I cancel?

You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling only stops the next renewal.
