How to cancel Potto: Meal Planner & Recipes and get your money back

Step 1 — Stop the next charge
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
- Select Potto: Meal Planner & Recipes → Cancel Subscription.
- Check that it now says Expires and not Renews. If it still says Renews, it is not canceled.

First, this is behind a $10/week paywall. I tried the free trial to see what it was like. It AI generates a meal plan and then you can go through and swap meals you don’t want. Definitely not for me. Only allows 30 items to be categorized as “don’t show me these.” You should be able to hide/block a meal from showing up too. For example, I love potatoes, but I don’t want a baked potato. From what I’ve seen, not a lot of meals to offer either. Glad I had the free trial or I would have wasted $10
You cannot do a single thing on this app without starting a free trial and then paying $10/wk.

Questions
Can I get a refund after I already canceled Potto: Meal Planner & Recipes?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.
How long do I have to ask for a refund?
Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.
Apple declined my request. Is that the end?
No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.
Will I lose access to Potto: Meal Planner & Recipes if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling only stops the next renewal.
