Step 1 — Stop the next charge
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
- Select Sideline: Private 2nd Number → Cancel Subscription.
- Check that it now says Expires and not Renews. If it still says Renews, it is not canceled.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

They charged me even after I canceled the service. Then they gave me only 23% of my requested refund. Let’s go back again, I promptly cancelled this service with an adequate amount of time during the prescription period, and they STILL CHARGED ME! Use another service with better business practices.
I was using the app as well as several of my team members, yes we use it to call people, and I then was blocked with no warning, I woke up this morning with my account blocked which my payment was charged 3 days ago funny enough… you’re not allowed to be unblocked from the app, the support people say “sorry, that’s all I can do” that’s the most robotic answer they could’ve given me.
I needed an app to provide me a second phone number for my part time job. I paid for the subscription and set up my account. Before I was even able to make a call or text there was a restricted notification. I reached out to them for help. They told me I violated the terms. I NEVER USED THE APP! So how could I violate any terms and all I did was simply set up my account. They told time to reach out to Apple for a ref…

Questions
Can I get a refund after I already canceled Sideline: Private 2nd Number?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.
How long do I have to ask for a refund?
Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.
Apple declined my request. Is that the end?
No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.
Will I lose access to Sideline: Private 2nd Number if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling only stops the next renewal.
