Step 1 — Stop the next charge
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
- Select TapCook: Budget Meal Plans → Cancel Subscription.
- Check that it now says Expires and not Renews. If it still says Renews, it is not canceled.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

I was hoping for an app to help me on those busy nights and I checked no dietary restrictions as well as foods we won’t eat but most importantly… kid friendly. The menu was the opposite. Who ever made this app never had a picky 6 and 10 yr old but name me a child who will eat zucchini and tomato quesadillas? Or white bean and Kale soup? Needless to say I canceled the app, it will be more of a headache making the kids…

Can I get a refund after I already canceled TapCook: Budget Meal Plans?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.
How long do I have to ask for a refund?
Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.
Apple declined my request. Is that the end?
