Tinder banned your account. Here's how the appeal actually works.
Most appeals fail for the same reason: they argue about fairness. The reviewer is not deciding whether the rule is fair — they are deciding whether the rule was applied to the right person. Those need completely different letters.
Tinder separates two things. A **suspension** ends by itself — you can return after 6 months, and no appeal is needed. A **ban** is the one you appeal, through the Appeal Center.

What were you actioned for?
Each of these needs a different argument. Pick the one that matches the notice you got:
- Tinder banned by mistake You are not arguing that the rule is unfair — you are arguing the automated system matched you to behavior that is not yours.
- Tinder flagged as spam or bot activity Automated systems flag rate, not intent.
- Tinder flagged for impersonation Either you are the person and can prove it, or the account never claimed to be them.
- Tinder flagged for having multiple accounts Shared devices, shared networks and household members all produce this flag.
- Tinder flagged for VPN or unusual location The system saw an impossible-looking location change.
- Tinder banned after a payment or chargeback dispute Trust-and-safety and billing are different teams.
What this will not do
- We do not contact Tinder for you. You submit the appeal yourself, through their official channel.
- Whether the account comes back is Tinder's decision, not ours. Nobody can promise that.
- If the action was for minors, violence, commercial solicitation, an appeal will not succeed and we will not write you one.
Tinder does not publish reversal rates. If your account was suspended rather than banned, waiting it out is the reliable path and an appeal is not needed.
