How to cancel PlantLush: Plant ID & Care Pro and get your money back

PlantLush: Plant ID & Care Pro is a Education app by Umut Koray Melek. Canceling and getting refunded are two separate things — most people do the first and assume the second happens automatically. It doesn't.

What goes wrong with PlantLush: Plant ID & Care Pro billing

We read the 108 recent 1–2★ reviews of PlantLush: Plant ID & Care Pro that mention money. These are the specific problems they describe (one review can describe more than one):

What this means for you: The most common complaint is a free trial quietly turning into a paid charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests made within days of the charge are approved far more often than ones made weeks later. Pick "A free trial turned into a paid subscription" in the form below and say when the trial started and that you never meant to continue.

Step 1 — Stop the next charge

  1. On iPhone or iPad open Settings and tap your name at the very top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then PlantLush: Plant ID & Care Pro.
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

Then check it actually worked

Look at the date line under the subscription. This one word tells you whether you are still being charged:

Renews 12 Oct 2026 Still charging you Expires 12 Oct 2026 Canceled correctly

If it still says Renews, the cancellation did not go through — go back and do it again. Either way, a charge that already happened is refunded separately, in Step 2.

Step 2 — Ask Apple for the charge back

Answer these and you'll get the exact wording to paste into Apple's form. Nothing is sent anywhere — it's generated in your browser.

Free — the refund request to send Apple. No account, no email required.

$5.99 one time — the appeal letter for when Apple declines your first request, plus the chargeback letter for your card issuer if Apple still says no. Emailed to you. Not a subscription. Nothing renews. Full refund on request — see Refund Policy.

A detail only you could write makes the request read as yours rather than a form letter.

Recent 1–2★ reviews of PlantLush: Plant ID & Care Pro on the App Store, about billing:

They took away my subscription I bought until April 18,2027. I have emailed with no success. Apple tried to help me but said it was on their side. I guess they don’t check their emails. Took away all of my garden information for no reason. Unless they restore my subscription with all my info I would not advise getting this app.

I subscribed a while few months ago and now it keeps telling me I am not subscribed, tried contacting but nothing came of that. I can’t access any of it but they happily took my money. A total rip off is what it feels like.

I used this as a trial and the next thing I know I am being billed 19.99 A WEEK! A WEEK! If you try this site be sure to cancel it the second you know you won’t use it or you will be paying $80 a month to identity plants. I have requested a refund from apple but don’t know how that will turn out.

Questions

Can I get a refund after I already canceled PlantLush: Plant ID & Care Pro?

Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.

How long do I have to ask for a refund?

Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.

Apple declined my request. Is that the end?

No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.

Will I lose access to PlantLush: Plant ID & Care Pro if I cancel?

You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling only stops the next renewal.

PlantLush: Plant ID & Care Pro is not listed in my Apple subscriptions, but I am still being charged. What now?

Then Apple is not the one charging you — the company is billing your card or PayPal directly, and reportaproblem.apple.com will not help. Check your card or PayPal statement for the merchant name, cancel from your account on that company website, and ask them for the refund in writing. If they do not answer within a few days, dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer instead.
