How to cancel TruthFinder Search and get your money back

What this means for you: The most common complaint is not being able to find how to cancel. Links inside the app often lead nowhere. If TruthFinder Search bills through Apple, the only switch that actually stops it is in Settings (Step 1) — do that before asking for the refund.

- On iPhone or iPad open Settings and tap your name at the very top.
- Tap Subscriptions, then TruthFinder Search.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

Paid for subscription but I am unable to access any search reports. A result is returned but when the result is selected, the application displays one of 2 things: 1. a time out error message 2. A message noting the report contents have been removed from the system.
Don’t bother wasting your $ with this app. It doesn’t give you anymore information that you couldn’t find on your own for free. Trust me. You can find out more on your own. Don’t waste your money. It’s just a scam and only gives you bare basics at the max. Doesn’t include all criminal history either. It’s a scam.
Be aware, once you find out how useless the info they give you is and you try and cancel your subscription or delete the app, it sends you in circles from the app to the website. Neither of which is allowing me to cancel.

Questions
Can I get a refund after I already canceled TruthFinder Search?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.
How long do I have to ask for a refund?
Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.
Apple declined my request. Is that the end?
No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.
Will I lose access to TruthFinder Search if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling only stops the next renewal.
TruthFinder Search is not listed in my Apple subscriptions, but I am still being charged. What now?
Then Apple is not the one charging you — the company is billing your card or PayPal directly, and reportaproblem.apple.com will not help. Check your card or PayPal statement for the merchant name, cancel from your account on that company website, and ask them for the refund in writing. If they do not answer within a few days, dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer instead.
